The metal file is almost useless.

The grooves aren’t aggressive enough to work as a file, even on my fingernails. I need a file on my multitool so I really hope there is a Metal File 2.0. Perhaps diamond on one side and a double cut on the other? Or coarse diamond one side, fine the other?

I think I will turn mine into a longer flat head screwdriver.

Metal File Needs Improvement

The file kind of works but just barely. If in a pinch it might suffice. It would be really great if it was like the Leatherman Surge and had a diamond file to sharpen blades.

Useless metal file

It is not a metal file, it is a piece of steel with stripes, it is not useful for filing metal or plastic, terrible design and it is not functional, money pity.
